Hi strangers.
It's my birthday on Thursday so I started the celebrations on Saturday. I am excited for Thursday because we're going to NEW YORK. Food! I also am ready to be a year older. 21 is overrated.
I miss blogging but it seems like no one is really active lately. I've cleaned up ipawyou.com and will start posting there once I get motivated.

Just got back from Hawaii last night. Bittersweet about leaving.
 
 
I have anxiety about heading back to work, it is going to be hard and difficult. I had dreams about it the entire time I was in Hawaii and it often caused me to wake up around 5-6am every morning (but I stayed in bed until 7-8am). For being apart of the US, sometimes it feels like you're really in a different country. I like it but am not sure if I would like to live there. Not enough convenient vegan food; Portland is pretty spoiled on that.

My tattoo session ended up being 3-1/2 hours. Luckily I have a really fucking awesome conversationalist for a tattoo artist. He's great. I think we took about two or three two minute breaks so I could pee or eat food. I won't lie, it hurt but it wasn't as bad as I had imagined. The parts near my stomach were more painful than my ribs.
I feel like shit today though. I jumped in the shower to wash it and when I came out I about passed out. I started dry heaving and getting really dizzy. I took a nap for about twenty minutes, moisturized it (fucking ouch) and Aumie drove me to work.
Well, I sort of have photos of it. My photograph (boyfriend) left about an hour into it so we didn't get much. I'll take more when the swelling goes down. It is a lot more comfortable than my thigh tattoos were.

I was overwhelmed with the most beautiful people I know all in one room (hearts and looks). We ate heart shaped finger sandwiches, sipped on tea and Emily made me a three layer birthday cake!! Three layer birthday cakes are usually what you get for weddings; it was amazing. It had a real bow on the back of it along with flowers on it... she made it so it resembled my top hat (which she also made). She really went over the top and I can never be more thankful.
My best friend, Sarah, gave me a Nenya ring. If you have known me for a while or follow LOTR at ALL you will know how much this means to me. It still leaves me speechless. It's so beautiful! Ah, I'm just so happy right now.
Everything is sunshine, butterflies and rainbows right now ;)

This is Morpheus. He has one wonky ear. He had an infection years ago and when the doctor bandaged him up he made it permanently like this. Morpheus also likes to drool, a lot. He also lovingly stares at me all the time and I wake up to him drooling on my boobs. <3

I am back & alive from Burning Man!
We drove back from Burning Man after the man burned Saturday night and continuously drove until 10:30 am Sunday morning when we arrived at home.
We then proceeded to sleep from 11:00 am until about 8:00 pm because we wanted to go eat our first delicious real meal since coming back to the real world. We ate thai food and we ate a lot of it. We then went directly back to bed after.
I have a lot of Polaroids to scan and pictures to nab from friends but I have a few digital images to share! Here you go and remember, there will be many more to come:

| Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 months |

Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 months in prison Monday for his role in a dogfighting conspiracy that involved gambling and killing pit bulls.
The suspended Atlanta Falcons quarterback could have been sentenced up to five years by District Judge Henry E. Hudson. Vick was dressed in a black-and-white striped prison suit and apologized to the court and his family.
Vick pleaded guilty in August, admitting he bankrolled the "Bad Newz Kennels" dogfighting operation and helped kill six to eight dogs.
In a plea agreement, he admitted bankrolling the dogfighting ring on his 15-acre property in rural southeastern Virginia and helping kill pit bulls that did not perform well in test fights.
He also admitted providing money for bets on the fights but said he never shared in any winnings.
It's sad that they failed to mention the countless kittens that he also killed and other small animals. It's disgusting that his punishment wasn't more severe. If you brutally kill animals you serve less time then if you free them from their cages. It's so fucked up.
